“We are about to take the step out of matter. The planet is on a collision course with the most profound event thats possible to imagine.
The freeing of organic life from the chrysalis of matter. For 1 billion years there’s been life on this planet, but never life that could step outside of matter. But this is obviously what’s in the cards and we are privileged to be central to that.
What history is, is the 25,000 year transition zone. Before you enter the zone, you’re an animal. After you leave the zone, you’re a God.
If my ideas seem strange to someone, I ask them, “Can you imagine this planet in 500 years? Can you imagine this planet in 1000 years?” No. No one can imagine that, because processes are now in play which so totally rewrite the script that no one can imagine.
This is what it’s like when a species prepares to depart for the stars. You don’t depart for the stars under calm and orderly conditions. It’s a fire in a madhouse. And that’s what we have – the fire in the madhouse at the end of time.
This is what it’s like when a species prepares to move on to the next dimension. The entire destiny of all life on the planet is tied up in this. We are not acting for ourselves, from ourselves. We happened to be the point species on a transformation that will affect every living organism on this planet at its conclusion.”

This might be the best video describing Arctic ice melt I’ve ever seen. It is also the scariest. The Arctic is the Earth’s air conditioner. It helps regulate temperatures around the globe in a variety of ways. Most importantly, the Arctic provides stability. Once the ice is melted, the system blows up and gets all out of wack. It impacts everything from fisheries to weather to coastal infrastructure to animal habitat. Click here to read an easy summary by WaPo for more reasons why this matters.
I’ve seen, heard, read, viewed, participated, and debated dozens and dozens of aspects of climate change. This one, this video, is one of the best explainers of how much trouble the Earth is in.
…produced by independent videographer Peter Sinclair for The Yale Forum on Climate Change & The Media explains what expert scientists now find to be the lowest extent of Arctic sea ice in recorded history.
“Some Christians believe Jesus will come back to fix this corrupt world. Certain Jewish sects propose that the messiah will soon appear on Earth for the first time. Among Muslims, many predict the legendary Twelfth Imam will return and bring salvation to humanity.
In India, devotees of Vishnu expect the avatar Kalki to arrive on the scene and carry out a series of miraculous redemptions. Even Buddhists prophesy Maitreya, the chosen one who will establish universal peace.
My divinations foretell a very different scenario. I suspect that the whole point of our spectacularly confounding moment in history is that each of us must become our own savior. And if we hope to accomplish that, relying on our best amateur efforts, we will have to stop waiting around for a supposed professional to do our work for us. We should also shed our addiction to believing in the possibility of any kind of magical intervention.
Franz Kafka had a view that’s not necessarily mutually exclusive with mine:”The messiah will come when we don’t need him anymore.”
Let’s also consider the evidence offered by William Blake, as quoted in Poets and God by David L. Edwards: “Jesus Christ is the only God. And so am I. And so are you.”
One more clue, this time from Deepak Chopra: “Every person is a God in embryo. Its only desire is to be born.””"
